Crush Lover started from a narrow frustration: almost every foundation on the shelf was solving for coverage, and almost none were solving for how skin actually looks at the end of a long day.
The formula came first.
We spent longer on the emulsion than on anything else. A water-in-oil base sits in skin rather than on top of it, which is why Crush Tint does not sit in fine lines by hour six — but it is harder to stabilise, and it is the reason the first eighteen batches never left the lab.
The packaging followed the formula, not the other way round. Frosted glass because the pigment is light-sensitive. A weighted sphere cap because a foundation you enjoy picking up is a foundation you actually wear.

Few things, done properly
A short catalogue is a decision, not a limitation. Every formula has to earn its place against the one already doing that job, which means most ideas never ship.
Skin, not coverage
Makeup that erases texture erases the person. Our shades are built to even tone and leave everything that makes a face legible.
Ingredients that work, not that read well
Four active ingredients, each chosen for what it does over twelve hours of wear. Nothing added because it looks impressive on a label.
Made to be felt
Weighted glass, a cap that closes with a sound. The object should be worth leaving out on the counter.
